Flames of War Hobby League - Week 6

Week 6 kinda got away from me! Looks like our hobby leaguers have been super busy! We're getting close to our goals, well done team!

Brent's British Churchill Tanks (Italy)

Brent's still out of town and we look forward to his return to the fold!

Ian's British Rifle Company

Ian's Churchills, Shermans, and Achilles have joined forces with his infantry.







Mike's US Rangers

I've had a light week, with an HMG platoon and a refurbished Cavalry patrol to go with it.



Patrick's German Assault Guns

Pat's got a Panzer IV incoming as well as some completed Nebelwerfers.





Phil's German Panzers

Phil's retouching his Tiger (meee-yow!) and adding some extra infantry to his painting queue!





Rob's British Rifle Company

Rob's forces have been reinforced with some armored cars. There's also another batch of infantry and a 6pdr platoon coming to the front as well.



Great effort this week, everyone! We're cruising toward our goals at a cracking pace.

It's been a while since we had an update, but things have kept charging forward! We had no fewer than three FoW games played in the last couple of weeks using our growing Hobby League armies! Brent's British took on some T-34s and came out victorious. Ian and Rob played a game with their league forces, and Pat and I got a pair of games as well! Here's some of the photos we got sent in. Flames of War Hobby League - Week 7

Welcome to week 7 of the EI Hobby League! This has been a light week for progress photos, so we'll keep it short. But we're going to soon be ready for a club day out, so be prepared! Mike's US Rangers All I was able to get done this week was another cavalry patrol. I might end up making a formation out of these before too long! Patrick's German Assault Guns Patrick's made some progress on his Panzer IVs this week: Phil's German Panzers Rather than work on Hobby League stuff, Phil has crafted himself a post-apocolyptic self-defence weapon instead, though he claims its to help him spray an entire formation in one go! He's also done a little more work on his Tiger. Rob's British Rifle Company Rob's finished his aircraft and has made a little more progress through his infantry, and an "odd" platoon of some late 75mm Shermans. That's if for this week! Flames of War Hobby League - Week 5

As the hobby league rolls into week 5, many of us have completed the first batch of 50 points, so that's a huge milestone! The next one is an easy 75 points total, so only 25 more points, followed by another 25 after that! With so many of us finishing up our 50 points, we should start thinking about running a small event to show off our progress. I'll post up a topic in the facebook group to start that ball rolling. In the meantime, here's our weekly progress: Brent's British Churchill Tanks (Italy) Brent's been overseas on business, so he doesn't have a current update.
